Wouldn’t that be an fantastic journey? Now imagine you could go visit the far future. See the evolution of mankind. Witness the creation of AI. Watch Dyson spheres around the Earth.
There are countless people who ask: is time travel possible? Even though there are countless of time travel theories, no one truly knows. The fact is, we don’t see around a lot of visitors from the future (which should be the case if time travel were possible, no?). Or perhaps they are here, but are just hiding…
Since we don’t have time travel machines, for now, we have to stick to fiction. Unsurprisingly, time travel movies are a very popular sub-genre of sci-fi. Just visit IMDB and you’ll find so many movies with a time travel element have been extremely successful: the Back to the Future trilogy, The Butterfly Effect, Prime, Donnie Darko, The Terminator Series and numerous others.
As one who finds the notion of time travel fascinating and wishes he could journey back and forth in time (with or without a Delorean), I don’t know whether this will ever be possible. But at least until then we’ll have plenty of fun watching movies and reading novels!
