Nothing is more important than your child’s safety when it comes to selecting baby bedding. Two important aspects of baby bedding are a firm (i.e. not a pillow-top) mattress and a snugly-fit sheet. Opt for a fitted sheet that wraps around the mattress snugly as opposed to a flat top-sheet that merely folds underneath. This will protect your infant from entanglement or suffocation. Wet accidents are bound to happen, so add a flat, waterproof pad under the sheet to keep the mattress dry.
